Fraud Monet
A playful nod to Claude Monet and the long tradition of artists learning through imitation. Fraud Monet began as an experiment: a contemporary painter attempting to step briefly into the language of Impressionism — light, water, and atmosphere built through layered color and texture.
While the title leans into the joke, the painting itself is sincere. Thick, expressive marks and luminous blues and greens capture the quiet movement of water lilies drifting across the surface.
